I played one Tim Staples clip, then we started taking calls on all sorts of subjects, including the one I include in the video below, ending with a good question about the NT's use of the Septuagint and inerrancy. Sorry about being late in blogging this. I am so buried in this 2nd edition of the KJVOC I can't see straight. I had completely forgotten how much Greek there is in that work (check out the endnotes some time!), and having to re-enter every bit of that, very slowly, is going to be the death of me yet. Anyway, we kept swinging away at the Patrick Madrid debate from San Diego. Actually managed to get a full ten minutes of it played this time! Should be done by...Christmas at this rate! I haven't had a chance to work on the video yet, but I didn't want to wait till tomorrow to get this blogged. I really enjoyed today's DL. I started out with thanks to all who have sent in e-mails to testimonies@aomin.org. Then I felt compelled to make some comments about the current situation in Western culture, the economic melt-down, etc., in light of the rampant degradation and sinfulness of that culture. We then went to calls, covering salvation in the OT, a young man wanting to know how to get into the realm of apologetics, and a call from my old friend Don Lord about...lots of stuff. A really enjoyable hour, that hope will be encouraging to you all. Here's the program (free/high quality).
