Started off with a review of the attack of the SAC (Street Abusers Cult) in Mesa, and related some of the stories from nearly a quarter century of ministry at the Easter Pageant. Then callers took up the last half hour with discussions of the exegesis of Galatians 2:7 and then the natures of Christ.

Pretty much the entire program was related to Roman Catholicism today, looking at the synod meeting in Rome, the reports on the discussions therein, a little bit of Jason Stellman’s “unmitigated disaster” meme, and then, the last portion of the program, I interacted with Douglas Wilson’s FVism regarding Rome, and pounded on the theme, “It’s the Gospel” over and over
Getting past Unitarian notions of Jehovah. YHWH a name for one being of God, yet three persons. James shows that Jesus is Jehovah from the citation of Psalm 102 in Hebrews 1:10-12, and also from the use of Isaiah 6 in John 12.
James discusses an email that he received from a 70+ year old man who used a number of ad hoc arguments against James. He continues to speculate who may have emailed him with callers who call in. Callers called with questions about Roman Catholicism and emotions; the Calvinism debate on BAM and the nature of Adam’s will before the fall.
