Did my first “solo run” on the DL yesterday, as it was July 4th and Rich had other things to do, so…I ran the whole thing on my own! Finished up my review of the Oliphint/Jaros dialogue (about 50 minutes on that), and then went back to reviewing Yusuf Ismail/William Lane Craig. A jumbo (90 minute) edition!

Mike O’Fallon visited us at our offices so we talked some more about cruise developments and the like to start things off. Then I played sections from Brian Flemming’s The God Who Wasn’t There and noted the horrific argumentation it presents. Also talked a bit about Tim Staples, and fielded a call on NT Wright’s view of justification.
It is questionable whenever a church uses “Madison Avenue” marketing techniques, and dangerous when done by a cult. Dr. White reads through a Temple Training Manual to clearly exposes the Mormon effort to become God that is not often seen behind the exterior of smiles and family values.
Looked at some comments from one of the LDS Apostles at the “sort of” virtual General Conference in Salt Lake yesterday on the topic of the nature of God. Then we watched Kenneth Copeland and his chorus spitting at coronavirus—seriously. Finally, listened to a few more comments from Leighton Flowers and Ken Wilson relating to church history.
